Wheeler Dealer Hummer

Yes, there's a Hummer H3 in my garage.
No... It's not the huge gas guzzling, rap artist and mall mom mobiles most non-car folks automatically assume. It's quite a versatile machine and for me who wanted Jeep, I quickly found out that these are more off road ready with space to spare and power, plus a sporty interior and road feel. Wife REALLY loves it, I dig it too.

But it's over the 100K mile mark and reliability is up for chance so there is concern for her. Not myself (I actually enjoy some repairs and maintenance) so given that, It's closer to my turn for the daily driving our family car, and if you know me, that means I gotta change things.

I really dig the clean look. there isn't a lot added here. The black painted plastics make an impact, mine have the grayish sun fade and tired of dumping the dress up goo to make them look better. Yes there is a monster roof rack, I have a garage height issue so that will be minimal. Factory wheels powdercoated keep the cost down and yes, I can fit those 35" tires under with a simple turn of the torsion key to level the front.

So with some paint work, scrubbing and a lot of detail maybe I can give our H3 another 100k miles and turn some heads.
