Pleasant Hill Historic Preservation Commission

Mayor appointed Commissioner since 2013. The Historic Preservation Commission reviews exterior changes to properties recognized as local landmarks or within local historic district. The commission must approve a Certificate of Appropriateness before a building permit is issued for exterior work to ensure that changes or repairs are compatible with the building’s architectural character and complement the historic district.


Director, Pleasant Hill Community Improvement District

Elected Director/ Secretary. Community Improvement District is designed to help improve the community by bettering conditions for existing businesses, and attracting new growth. Community safety, beautification, business retention, economic growth, and capital improvements are all domains in which CIDs can help improve business-minded communities. Funds for the CID are Non-residential properties, whose owners pay an additional tax revenue that is dedicated to services and improvements within the district’s boundaries
